Treating, stabilizing and recycling non-hazardous wastes

Our company provides all the necessary documentations, environmental and working conditions needed to ship and pre-treat wastes to be available in the same place and at the same time. The certificate and validation of work processes must be done as well.

“Non-hazardous waste is the one which does not go through significant physical, chemical or biological transformation. Its characteristic is that is does not dissolve in water, does not burn, and does not react in any other physical or chemical way. Furthermore, it is neither biodegradable, nor does it have any adverse effect on materials coming into contact with it in a way which would cause environmental pollution or threat to human health. The effects of its leachate, contaminant content, as well as the ecotoxical effect of the leachate are insignificant so it does not endanger the surface or subsurface waters.”

Collecting and shipping

Shipping non-hazardous wastes makes up a part of our portfolio. We carry out the activity according to our customer’s need when shipping the waste from a given site to the target area.

The loading and unloading of shipments are done by our own staff and equipment or by the staff and equipment provided by the customer.

 

Stabilizing municipal solid wastes

Stabilizing wastes is done by depositing. For this activity we apply compactor spreading, compacting and covering wastes with soil covering. On account of stabilizing done by depositing, treating leachate also has an important role as an additional activity.

While depositing, municipal waste goes through different biological decomposing processes which are accompanied by significant gas production.

Among gases being produced during the biochemical processes happening in the spoil-area, according to its quantity, treating methane is needed. Recycling spoil-area gases can be carried out by implementing gas withdrawal wells. These gases can be transformed into electrical energy by conveying them into gas recycling systems.
